Systray Icon Missing Windows 7
My systray icon missing windows 7 while I am using custom user interface (UI). Like networking icon, battery, speakers volume, etc. As the picture as well but the icons are missing (not hidden).
When seen in the setting, the visible icon status are off and can not be made to on. To bring back systray icon missing windows 7, follow these steps.
I am recommend that you to create restore point first.
Open the registry editor (shortcut: Windows key + R or Start menu > Run > type regedit > enter).
Go to this registry entry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Classes > Local Settings > Software > Microsoft > Wi ndows > CurrentVersion > TrayNotify.
Find IconStreams and PastIconsStream on the right panel and delete both.
Open Task Manager (shortcut: Ctrl + Shift + Esc), go to the Processes tab, find explorer.exe and click End Process. Maybe you will found some explorer.exe. Don’t matter with that….. End Process all of them.
Then go to Applications tab on Task Manager. Add New Task at the bottom-right of the window. Type explorer.exe and confirm with OK!! This is to reload explorer.exe.
After these steps, systray icon missing windows 7 should appear.
