On Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 (I9150) that using Android OS 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, I can turn off unused built-in applications so as not to reduce the smartphone resources.
I am often disappointed with the performance of Android smartphone that I use just because of the default applications that I am not use are run by itself. The applications run automatically and connect to the internet so that the performance of the smartphone suddenly feels slow. This prompted me to use custom rom that contains few default application so that it takes up a lot of resources.
Below the steps how to turn off the built-in apps.
First of all, go to Setting page, then go directly to Application Manager.
Will see 4 tabs where you have to move to last tab (All tab).
Looking for applications that do not use there and click there.
On Application Info, click the Turn Off button.
