Cool Everything Down

As soon as you notice any kind of unusual noise coming from one of your devices, the best thing that you can do is to try to turn off the device and get everything cooled down. 

In many cases, devices start making weird noises when they get too hot and try to cool themselves down. Devices can start to get too hot when they’re overused or are just running too much. So by shutting the device down and allowing it to properly cool, you may fix the issue of the strange sound entirely, especially if it was coming from something like a cooling fan. Additionally, if you notice anything that’s causing your device to overheat from the environment, seek to get rid of this thing. 

Check For Anything Loose

Another possible reason for a weird noise coming from a device could be that something is loose. This can happen from the device being used or from old or faulty parts. 

To determine if this is the case, you’ll want to get nice and close to the device to try to pinpoint just where the sound is coming from. With something loose, the sound will usually sound like a rattling or a vibration sound, as the loose item is knocking against other parts of the device.
